Race Day is set for Labor Day Weekend. Saturday, September 4th, 2010. Registration opens at 9:00, the race will begin at 10:00 until there are no racers left. An outdoor Awards Ceremony & Dinner will follow the race at the Perry Walther Community Center at approximately 6:00.We Provide the CARS . . . .

An actual officially sanctioned Soap Box Derby has many daunting rules and procedures. We will be doing again, more of what National refers to as a Rally . We will modify the rules to make the event more inclusive and fun for everyone.
The BVPG was able, through very generous sponsors last year, to purchase and build 15 regulation cars.
If you would like to purchase and build your own car you can go to http://www.aasbd.com or you can sponsor a car through us and we will build it, paint it, put your logos on it and have it race ready on race day.
In any event there are cars available for you to race so don't let that hold you back. We want your participation!
Just like last year there will be Youth Class divisions as well as an Open Adult class where adults can either race our largest cars or build their own-as long as it has official z-glass racing wheels (available at www.aasbd.com) and it must pass our safety check prior to racing.
